Connect your camera
Get images and video flowing from your camera to Zeemage in minutes — and watch them on your phone, computer, or TV. Nothing to install: Zeemage runs in the browser on all three.
Will my camera work?
It can send email (SMTP) — works. Point it at your feed address, or use the Zeemage SMTP server below.
It can send MMS picture messages — works, when your operator supports MMS-to-email.
Its pictures land in a mailbox or an app that can forward email — works. Set Gmail/Outlook (or the vendor app’s email notification target) to auto-forward to your feed address. The forwarding confirmation approval can be done in Zeemage.
It only talks to its manufacturer’s own app or cloud, with no external communication link — not compatible. In these cases, consider another Zeemage-compatible camera model.
Popular compatible brands
Examples of camera brands that work with Zeemage. Any camera that can send email (SMTP) or MMS works — no vendor lock.
These brands have camera models which send emails to any address.
Burrel
Example models: S12 HD+SMS, S10, Edge-class cellular models (email/MMS)
Send settings: camera menu > Lähetysasetukset / Send Via
Note: SMS-command control on +SMS models.

Example models: UM785-3G/4G, Glory LTE class (email/MMS)
Send settings: Send Via: Email/MMS — recipients in Send To
Suntek
Example models: HC-300M, HC-900M/LTE class (SMTP + MMS, FTP on some) — also sold as Ceyomur, Coolife
Send settings: on-camera menu or the vendor’s PC settings tool
Note: SMS commands supported.
Bolyguard / ScoutGuard
Example models: MG984G, BG310 class (email/MMS)
Send settings: settings file generated with the vendor’s BGTools app, loaded by SD card
Note: SMS command set.
Ltl Acorn
Example models: 6511WMG class (MMS/SMTP)
Send settings: vendor’s PC setup tool
Spromise
Example models: S358/S378 class (email/MMS)
KeepGuard
Example models: KG895 class (email)
Niteforce
Example models: 4G models for the FI market (email/MMS)
Spartan GoCam / GoCam 2 / Ghost
Example models: GoCam, GoCam 2, Ghost — Send Via: Auto = direct email to one recipient
Send settings: Wireless > Send Via > Auto > Recipient
Note: Premium mode is Spartan’s closed cloud; GoLive models are Premium-only. One recipient — use mailbox forwarding for your own copy.
Model generations change — if your camera’s menu has an Email/SMTP or MMS setting, it works with Zeemage regardless of brand.
Most cameras from all listed brands can email motion-triggered snapshots to your feed address today. Live streaming (ONVIF) arrives autumn 2026.
In the camera’s settings, find the Email / SMTP settings (often under Network or Event/Alarm). If the camera already has an outgoing email account configured, simply add your feed address as the recipient. If not, enter the settings of any email account that allows SMTP sending — for example Gmail with an app password — or use the Zeemage SMTP server below, which needs no email account of your own. Then enable snapshot attachment on motion.
Examples only — not affiliated with or endorsed by these manufacturers. Cameras tied to a closed manufacturer cloud (app-only models) cannot redirect their images and are not compatible.
Connection types
Zeemage supports three connection types. Pick the one your camera and subscription support — full instructions are in the Zeemage User Manual, chapter 1.
The camera sends images and video to Zeemage by email — either directly from the camera or forwarded from your existing mailbox, for example Gmail or Outlook. Services that email only a link to the image are supported too: select Link as the camera’s mode in Camera settings.
The camera sends images to Zeemage as MMS picture messages addressed to your Zeemage email address. Your operator and subscription must support MMS and the MMS-to-email function.
A live video stream connection based on the camera’s IP address. Planned for autumn 2026 — setup will use the camera’s public IP address and port, and in many cases port forwarding in your router.
Every connection targets your personal feed address in the format XXXXXXXXX@ZEEMAGE2.COM, where X stands for nine letters or numbers. Your addresses are created and shown in Settings > Camera settings.
Connect by email
There are several ways to get images and videos delivered to your feed address; choose the one that fits your situation.
Existing email setup (recommended)
If your camera already sends images by email, keep using your current setup. Add your Zeemage feed address as an additional recipient in the camera, or set your current mailbox — for example Gmail or Outlook — to forward the camera’s messages to your feed address automatically. With auto-forwarding you don’t need to access the camera at all. Some providers, such as Gmail, first send a confirmation message to the forwarding target; it arrives in your Zeemage account, where you can open and approve it.
New camera
If you’re setting up a new camera that doesn’t yet have an outgoing email account, use any general email provider, for example Gmail, and enter its SMTP settings and account credentials in the camera. Alternatively, use the Zeemage SMTP server below.
Zeemage SMTP server (alternative)
Zeemage also offers its own SMTP server for sending images and video directly from the camera:
No Gmail account, app passwords, or two-factor workarounds needed — these settings work as-is in any camera.
- Setting
- Value
- Email address
- •••••••••••••This is the camera feed address given to you by Zeemage. The camera sends images to this address.
- Sender address
- Typically already set by the camera vendorPlease see the Zeemage manual for more info.
- Server name
- •••••••••••
- Port
- 587 (STARTTLS, recommended) or 465 (SSL/TLS)
- SSL/TLS
- On — required. TLS 1.0 or newer accepted, so older cameras work too
- User
- •••••••••••
- Password
- ••••••••
The exact values are hidden from address-harvesting bots — one click shows them.
Unencrypted sending (port 25) is not supported.
Note: the Zeemage SMTP server routes messages only to Zeemage feed addresses that belong to an active account. Messages to any other address, or to a closed or inactive account, are not delivered — the server cannot be used for general email sending.
Camera menu wording varies by brand
Menu wording, layout and language differ from brand to brand. The most common terms map like this:
- Concept
- Typical camera menu terms
- Sending method
- Send Via, Sending method, SMTP setting
- Sending over the mobile data network
- Internet, Data, SMTP, Email
- Sending as a picture message
- MMS
- Recipient type
- Send To
- Recipient addresses
- Email, Email list
Tip: you can keep your own email address in the camera’s recipient list at the same time — the camera then sends each file both to Zeemage and to your own mailbox.
Connect by MMS
Add your Zeemage email address as the target address in the camera’s MMS settings — the same address shown in Settings > Camera settings. Set the sending method to MMS. The recipient type stays email, because the picture message is delivered as MMS-to-email: the operator forwards it to the email address you enter. The camera may allow one or several target addresses, and the Zeemage feed address can be one of them.
SMS text messages themselves cannot carry pictures; picture messages are MMS.
Using MMS requires that your operator and subscription support the MMS protocol and in particular the MMS-to-email function. Note also that MMS message pricing may differ from data pricing.
Before you start
- You need a Zeemage account first. Register and sign in with a Google or Apple account, or with an email address and password — new accounts include a free trial period.
- The first time you access the service, Zeemage guides you through the initial camera settings: naming your cameras and creating your personal feed email address.
